What carries you, who flies it, and the conditions you need to meet to board. The technical side of tandem flying, explained plainly.
A two-seater paraglider is not an ordinary wing with a passenger added on. It is a distinct model, larger — around 40 m² — with reinforced lines, a pilot harness and a passenger harness, and its own certification for a two-person load. A rigid spreader bar keeps the two occupants apart so nobody obstructs the controls.
That extra surface changes how the wing behaves: it flies more slowly, damps air movement better and is more forgiving. That is what makes a two-seater suitable for a passenger who has never flown, even on a mountain site like Aguergour.

A brand wing certified for a two-person load, replaced according to flight hours rather than the date on the label.
You bring nothing. A padded passenger harness, a helmet in your size and carabiners checked before every launch.
Every tandem carries a reserve sized for two, repacked and inspected at regular intervals. It is never used — it has to be there.
From 30 to 100 kg for the passenger. Bring closed shoes that hold the ankle and a jacket: it is cooler up in the air.
Wing laid out and inspected, lines reviewed, carabiners and spreader checked, reserve in place: the check happens at launch, in front of you.
Commercial tandem flying requires a rating separate from the solo pilot licence: it is earned after a minimum number of hours and flights, and has to be kept current.
This is the least visible and most important check. If the wind picks up, turns the wrong way, or visibility drops, the flight is moved or cancelled — never negotiated.

The thrill of soaring over Marrakech with breathtaking panoramas beneath your feet. A unique experience led by professionals.
Surface area first: around 40 m² against 25 m². Then reinforced lines, the spreader bar that separates the two harnesses, and a certification specific to a two-person load. A solo wing cannot carry a passenger, however light.
A working wing is judged on flight hours, not on its purchase date: fabric porosity and line strength are tested at intervals, and the wing is retired as soon as those figures fall outside the manufacturer’s tolerances. That is why a heavily used wing can be replaced before an older one.
The passenger should weigh roughly between 30 and 100 kg. Height does not matter: the harness adjusts. If you fall outside that range, write to us before booking — depending on the day’s conditions, a solution is sometimes possible.
The risk is never zero, but it is contained: certified wing, reserve on board, a pilot rated for tandem and, above all, a refusal to launch when conditions do not allow it. At Aguergour the slope faces the lake, which gives steady breezes and a wide, open landing field.
